While it’s disappointing that Google has disabled support for clipboard managers, I was relieved to find that Clipboard Action still retains some functionality. One feature I’d love to see is the ability to track “Cut” actions in addition to “Copy,” as it would be helpful to log items I cut while editing.
After searching for an effective clipboard manager, I’m thrilled to have found Clipboard Action. It captures everything I copy, and offers handy tools for managing snippets, including the option to archive items.
I frequently use Clipboard Action for Mac throughout the day; it’s indispensable! However, I’m curious if there’s a way to rearrange my saved clips in the list view. I’d love to drag my most-used clips to the top.
Thank you for this terrific app! It would have earned a 5-star rating, but it didn’t recognize my macOS version 11—I initially thought I was on version 10. I have it installed on all my Mac devices, and it has significantly improved my workflow for copying, cutting, and pasting.
I would suggest adding a feature to categorize clips into folders. If that already exists, it should be easier to find. Additionally, it would be helpful to merge multiple clippings with custom delimiters and create a separate list for pinned clips.
Another issue is that the app doesn’t appear in the sharing menu, which can be inconvenient. A single-click function to delete all pastes (except saved ones) and an option to automatically delete pastes after a few days would also improve usability.
Lastly, I find the pop-up notification annoying when typing and wish there was a way to disable it. After some exploration, I discovered that I can select multiple entries to delete them, which is helpful.
Edited review: The app worked well until a recent update removed the swipe-to-copy feature, which affected text visibility. I rely on full-text previews for my Instagram posts. A custom title feature would also be beneficial. Minor issues remain, like the need to add dates to saved clips, and the backup option no longer seems to work on macOS 13.
