Hello, friends! Today, I want to share the best keyboard and mouse action recorder app for macOS X. If you often struggle with repetitive keyboard and mouse tasks, Input Recorder is here to help. This app allows you to record your keyboard and mouse actions and play them back later, making your workflow much more efficient. Additionally, you can choose whether to repeat the recorded actions multiple times or perform them just once. I find this app to be more reliable and easier to use than Apple’s Shortcuts app for accomplishing similar tasks. However, there is one limitation—it only allows for 100 repetitions. I needed to execute a repetitive task 21,224 times (updating entries in my media database).
To work around this limitation, I recorded myself performing the task 50 times, then had Input Recorder repeat that recording 50 times, processing 5,000 entries at a time. Instead of these workarounds, it would have been more convenient if users could set their own repetition limits beyond 100. That’s my only suggestion for improvement. Thank you for the app, Justin!
