After installation, you can use ‘Restore Exif Info’ to revert changes during the session, but this option is unavailable once the app is closed.
You can create EXIF presets for common edits by navigating to Presets > Add Presets. When editing photos in the future, just select the preset and click ‘Start Process.’ The app also allows viewing and editing metadata for individual images, including manually adding GPS info.
Though I switched from Windows to Mac and found organizing photos less efficient on the Mac, this app helped me rename images with date and time. It was easy to use and affordable.
However, there are limitations; some IPTC fields cannot be modified, and the interface could be improved for easier access to specific fields. I also encountered a bug when saving to the same folder, which caused an “Access Denied” error and potentially locked up the app.
Despite these issues, I rate it three stars, as it successfully edits GPS coordinates recognized by other apps and includes a map search function, but you might need additional software for more comprehensive metadata editing.
